How to Order

Ordering your embroidered workwear with DirectBoot.co.uk is easy.

To place your order online, just follow the simple steps detailed below, or if at any time you have problems, please feel free to call us on 01992 717 000.

These instructions should have opened in a new tab within your browser, so you can flick back and forth between them and the site, as you follow each step.

  • 1. Create a customer account

    To help speed up the ordering process, we recommend that you first create a user account on our site, so that you can specify your contact details and also upload your logos ready to use with each of the orders you place. To create this account, click the Account login link in the top right hand corner of the screen, then click the Create an account button button, complete each of the requested fields and then click the Submit button button.  You will now be shown your Dashboard, confirming the information you have specified.

    If you already have your logo as a graphic file, this can now be uploaded to your account by clicking the My logos option in the left hand menu and then clicking the Choose file button button.  The screen now displayed will be dependent on the device you are using, however it should enable you to navigate to the folder location where the logo file is stored and then select it, or if using a device with a camera, to use an image from your gallery or take a picture.  Remember that when browsing your files, only image files in the support formats will be shown in the list.

    Your uploaded image files will then be shown in the My uploaded logos section.  Do not worry if the image quality of your logo is poor, as if there are any problems we will contact you before we process your order.

    You can repeat this process to upload as many images as required.

  • 2. Browse our products using the "Start Shopping Here" button or our "Search Box"

    Click the Start shopping here button button and select the product type (e.g. Poloshirts) for the type of garment you are looking to purchase.

    If you are looking for garments of a certain colour, that match the colour scheme for your organisation, choose a colour.

    Alternatively, if you know the name of the product, or its code (as you are looking at it in our brochure), click into the Search box box and enter the appropriate characters, then hit enter or click the Search now button button.

  • 3. Review, filter down and select the product you wish to purchase

    You will now be displayed with the list of products that are relevant to the department or colour of product you chose.  You can browse through this list by scrolling down the page.  If there are more than 30 products displayed, the next page of products can be viewed by clicking the Next option at the foot of the page.

    To reduce down the number of products shown, you can refine your results by using the panel of filters shown down the left side of the page.  These include Colour, Gender, Brand and Price Range.

    To reduce down the list of products shown to only those of a certain colour, click on the checkbox corresponding to the colour of garment you require.  The same technique can be applied to the other filters such as Gender and Brand, however for Price, a slider is used.

    The price slider will default to the highest price of any of the products currently shown in the product list.  To reduce this list down to only the products that are within your desired price range, slide the left hand pointer to the right to increase the minimum price, or slide the right hand pointer to the left to reduce the maximum desired price.  With each movement you make, the list of products shown in the list will update accordingly.

    When you have located the product you are looking for, click on the image of the product, or its name to be taken through to the full product details.

  • 4. Confirm the colour you would like

    The full product details page will show you the product image, available colours, unit and quantity pricing, sizes and embroidery options.

    Your first step is to select your required colour from the Step 1 : Choose a colour pull down.

    Your selected colour should already be shown, however if not, use the down arrow to select the appropriate colour from the list.  When selected, the page will refresh and the product name and image will change to the selected colour.

    Alternatively, you can also select your required colour from the Colour options box below the main image.

  • 5. Select how many of this product you require

    The next step is to specify how many of each size of this colour of item would you like to purchase.  To do this, first click the check box in the Quantity column and then, if more than one is required, enter the number into the quantity box.

    Repeat this process for the quantity of each of the garment sizes you need.  As you make your selections, you will see that the Current unit price, Quantity so far and the Total for this product so far will update, and the unit price paid will reduce in line with the quantity pricing indicated at the top of the page.

  • 6. Select where you would like your logo to be embroidered

    If the product you are viewing is one that can be embroidered, then either one or two embroidery option boxes will be shown. The first is for your main logo, and the second for an additional optional logo.

    Embroidering of a single logo is included for free within all our embroiderable products, therefore using the pull down menu in the Positions for main logo box, select the position (or positions) for your main logo.  If you select an option with multiple positions, the additional cost to embroider the same logo to the selected positions will be shown in the pull down and added to the unit and total price of your selected products.

    If you would like to embroider an additional logo that is different to your main logo, use the pull down menu in the Positions for additional logo box.  This is so you can have (for example) your main company logo in the standard left chest position, and then a further slogan or alternative logo on the sleeve.  Using the pull down menu in the additional logo box, select the position (or positions) for your additional logo.  The additional cost will be shown in the pull down and added to the total price of your selected products.

  • 7. Upload or select your logo

    You now need to provide an image for the logo(s) you would like to be used.

    If you do not have a logo to upload at this time, don’t worry as we can take care of this for you, so just select the I don’t have a logo option and then click the Finish Button button.  We will call you when we process your order and either source or create your logo for you and then upload it to your account for use on your subsequent orders.

    If you do have your logo(s) and you do already have a customer account (as described in step 1 above), click the Choose or upload logo button button you should now see each of the logos that have been uploaded to your account.  Simply click once on the image you would like to use for this logo and then click the Finish Button button.  Repeat this process if you have selected an additional logo.

    If you do have your logos, but you do not have a customer account and you would like to open one, click the Choose or upload logo button button and then click the Login option found within the text displayed, and then follow the instructions in step 1 above.

    Warning iconHowever, please be aware that any quantity selections made for this product that have not yet been added to basket will be lost if you move to the login screen.  Therefore you should select the I don’t have a logo option, then click Finish Button, and then click the Add to basket button button.  Once logged in, you will be able to return this item and associate the required images via the My basket button basket button found in the top right of the screen.

    If you do have your logos, but you do not want to open an account and therefore want to upload a logo for this order only, click the Select new logo button button.  The screen now displayed will be dependent on the device you are using, however it should enable you to navigate to the folder location where the logo file is stored and then select it, or if using a device with a camera, enable you to use an image from your gallery or take a picture.  Remember that when browsing your files, only image files in the supported formats will be shown in the list.

    The filename of your uploaded image will then be shown against the Selected logo heading.  Now click the Finish Button button.

    Do not worry if you the image quality of your logo is poor, as if there are any problems we will contact you before we process your order.

  • 8. Let us know any details about your order

    If you have any comments you would like to make about your order, your chosen item, your logo or any other issue regarding this particular product you are purchasing, please enter them into the Additional notes box.

  • 9. Checkout and pay for your items

    You are now ready to add this product to your basket, therefore please take a final check of the Total cost for this product, and then click the Add to basket button button.

    To purchase further products along with this one, simply follow steps 2 to 4 again for each additional product required.

    When you have finished adding products to your basket, click on the Proceed to checkout button button.

    If you already have an account (as described in step 1 above) and you are currently logged in, your stored details will already be showing and therefore you need only review the contents of each field, clicking the Continue button button as you complete each of the checkout stages.

    If you already have an account, but you are not logged in, enter your login details into the email and password fields on the right, and then click the Login button button.  Now complete each of the requested fields, clicking the Continue button button to move on to each of the checkout stages.

    If you do not have an account, but you would not like to create one, click the Checkout as a guest button and then click Continue button.  Now complete each of the requested fields, clicking the Continue button button to move on to each of the checkout stages.

    If you do not have an account, but you would like to create one, click the Register button and then click Continue button.  You will be provided with an opportunity to specify your required password along with your billing address.  Now complete each of the requested fields, clicking the Continue button button to move on to each of the checkout stages.
